Biological Environment

Low intertidal:

• Ulva lactuca growing on both the natural rock and the artificial concrete.

Lower intertidal: 

• Corallina, Galeolaria tubes, Enderachne and Pterocladia. 

Midtide level and above: 

• Sargassum and encrusting Corallinaceae closer to the end of Shark Point; barnacles, oysters and limpets off the end of the point.
